A Promise to Forever

Once upon a time, in the bustling halls of The Medical City in Ortigas, fate had a plan. On November 7, 2016, two hearts converged during the NTAP (Nursing Training Adaptation Program). Aaron, a dedicated and passionate nurse, couldn’t help but notice Karen, whose kindness and warmth radiated through the hospital corridors. After their NTAP graduation in December 2016, Aaron embarked on a journey to win Karen’s heart. He courted her patiently, showing her his unwavering commitment. Six months later, on May 17, 2017, they officially became a couple, choosing to celebrate their love on the 16th of each month, reminiscent of the day they first got to know each other well. Their first date, on February 12, 2017, at Bon Chon in SM Megamall, was filled with laughter, shared dreams, and a growing connection. It was the start of countless adventures together. As time passed, they discovered commonalities that strengthened their bond. Both born in April, both registered nurses, and both passionate about exploring the world, they embraced their differences with love. These were a testament to their unique love story.

Their dating life was filled with joyous moments: watching movies together, indulging in restaurant and café delights, and capturing every memory through photos. They ventured to places they loved, from the hospital where they both worked to Costa Coffee and the enchanting tourist attractions of England. Their favourite place on Earth was Copenhagen, Denmark, a city known for its organization, cleanliness, and ambiance. It held a special place in their hearts, and they dreamed of working there someday, especially because Karen’s sister lived there. Their hobbies intertwined beautifully. Aaron’s love for cooking delighted Karen’s taste buds, while Karen’s appreciation for fitness inspired Aaron’s dedication to physical and mental health. Aaron’s passion for photography and Karen’s expertise in fashion and makeup made them the perfect creative duo, constantly learning from each other’s talents. Their love story is a testament to the magic of chance meetings, shared dreams, and the beauty of embracing each other’s differences. Together, they embarked on a journey of love, and on January 2, 2023, at Fredensborg Palace in Denmark, Aaron finally asked Karen to be his forever, sealing their love story with a promise lifetime together. As their love story continued to unfold, Karen and Aaron found a special way to commemorate their journey. They chose their wedding date to be on the 16th of December, the same day they celebrated their monthly anniversaries, a beautiful reminder of the day their love story truly began. This date became a symbol of their enduring love, a day when they would embark on a new chapter together, promising to cherish each other just as they had from that very first meeting in the halls of The Medical City.
